Tucked into the trees of the Northeast Kingdom, Hillside Farm is a father/daughter-owned small farm that provides delicious, fresh, pasture-raised chicken and wild, ecologically grown apple cider. Their family farm is forging a new tradition of the old practice, giving the business vitality and sustainability.

Hillside Farm's are pasture-raised, meaning they forage daily on fresh, healthy pasture. Furthermore, the farm uses no antibiotics or hormones but instead uses mineral supplements, seaweed, and probiotics (Lactobacillus acidophilus) in the feed. The birds are processed at the farm, which is low-stress and more humane, as it does not require transportation of the animals nor exposure to other animals within a shared processing facility. The apple cider is ecologically grown, cultivated, and produced in a way that minimizes environmental impact, prioritizing natural processes and sustainable practices over synthetic inputs and methods.
