Founded in 1985, Deep Root Organic is one of the oldest co-ops of certified organic vegetable growers in the United States. The co-op exists to promote local, sustainable, and organic agriculture through its small, family-owned farms. Due to its size and the variety of member farms, Deep Root offers a wide range of products available throughout the year.

Deep Root Organic practices a co-op model by which they connect the farmer to the customer. All of Deep Root's member growers are small family farms that are certified organic.
