NEK Grains was established in 2020 by Shawn & Sara Gingue to make it easier for customers to have fresh, local grains and flour readily available. NEK Grains sources its wheat from the Gingue Family Farm in Waterford, VT and mills it on a granite stone mill, capturing the full flavor and maintaining the nutritional integrity of the entire wheat berry as it gets transformed into flour. The fresh flour has a light, nutty flavor that adds a unique flavor profile to baking.

NEK Grains focuses on building healthy soil and grows its grain crops without the use of any pesticides. At NEK Grains, they plant, grow, harvest, clean, store and process every single grain of wheat that goes into the fresh-milled flour on offer.
