One of the oldest continuously operating Orchards in Vermont, Champlain Orchards takes pride in growing over 110 varieties of apples, as well as peaches, pears, plums, cherries, nectarines, apricots, and many berries. As a careful steward of the land, Champlain Orchards grows all of the fruit following either strict Eco-Apple requirements or NOFA-VT Organic Growing Guidelines. These practices create an orchard ecosystem that supports pollinators, keeps damaging insects in balance with biological and preventive methods, and promotes soil and tree health.
