In a nutshell, Vermont Bean Crafters takes local, organic vegetables, herbs, heirloom beans, and grains and turns them into thoughtful variations of whole-food, plant-based products. Their products are entirely gluten-free, vegan, and GMO-free. Vermont Bean Crafters (VBC) is a VOF-certified organic business. Each of its products has a local percentage associated with it; local is defined as 300 miles from the company's location in Warren. VBC buys from small, organic, sustainable growers and producers. They have very little waste, though they integrate composting and recycling wherever possible.
