Sweet Rowen Farmstead is a grass-based, family-owned business and a Northeast Kingdom treasure. They milk a small herd of Vermont Heritage Lineback cows, a regional ecotype from the Northeast Kingdom. Linebacks were allowed to evolve naturally on Vermont pasture, making them uniquely suited to the native climate. While the products are not currently certified organic, many of the farming practices meet organic standards, often going above and beyond to ensure responsible environmental stewardship. You can taste the difference in Sweet Rowen's unrivaled milk and other dairy products.
