Salvation Farms is a federally recognized non-profit organization that aims to increase the resilience of Vermont’s food system through agricultural surplus management.

Salvation Farms is committed to the efficient integration of Vermont's agricultural surplus into sites that serve some of the state's most vulnerable people. They accomplish this mission by piloting models, creating awareness, providing technical assistance, and advocating at the state and national levels. Through its programs, Salvation Farms reduces food loss on farms, increases the use of locally grown foods, and fosters an appreciation for Vermont's agricultural heritage and future.
