Scott and Tara Oeschger own and operate Northeast Kingdom Processing, located in St. Johnsbury. NEK Processing is Animal Welfare Approved, allergen-free, and can process Vermont Certified Organic or Non-GMO Project Verified. Because of NEK Processing, local meat producers have a USDA-certified processing facility, making Vermont products more accessible for restaurants, retailers, and farmers markets.
