Headquartered on the historic Boston Fish Pier, Red’s Best was founded in 2008 to serve fishermen from local coastal communities and connect them to customers, sustaining the livelihoods of American fishermen and fisheries for harvest.

Red's Best aggregates catches, networking small boats with proprietary technology to form a large market presence, leveling the global playing field. To achieve scale in supporting and sustaining community-based fishing fleets, they built robust, proprietary data management software, which enables them to handle massive amounts of small inbound data points. The system electronically tracks daily catch from the moment a fisherman offloads their vessel onto a Red’s Best truck or one of the dockside facilities.
